Technology meets consumer brands.
At Spaceport, I worked with a wide range of consumer brands across growth and partnerships. I brought my agency experience into a technology business, helping connect brands with new digital experiences.
AN INTRODUCTION FOR HARPOON · BRETT FINK
Keep things moving.
Make the important things happen.
I’ve worked in venture, built brands and run a marketing agency.
I want to bring that experience back to a fund, and get to work.

ONE PERSON. BOTH SIDES OF THE JOB.
Your role splits operational excellence and creative execution. That combination makes sense to me.
I’m used to moving between the plan and the work: coordinating people, keeping delivery on track and turning an idea into something people actually see.
A WORKING LOOK AT HOW I THINK
Pick a brief. See what I’d get organized, what I’d create and where I’d make the call.
AI helps with first drafts, research and checklists. I own the accuracy, approvals and follow-through. Nothing in this demo sends messages or books travel.
I KNOW THE ENVIRONMENT
At 500 Startups and Moderne Ventures, I worked across accelerator operations, events, platform and partnerships.
I helped founders sharpen their go-to-market and connect with investors, enterprise customers and partners. On a small team, that means doing the preparation and following through after the introduction.
I like being close to the work. That’s what I miss about venture.
THEN I BECAME AN OPERATOR
While running a creative agency, I also launched Spaceport and, in 2025, side.chat. Both put me closer to the product, the customer and the work of getting a business off the ground.

At Spaceport, I worked with a wide range of consumer brands across growth and partnerships. I brought my agency experience into a technology business, helping connect brands with new digital experiences.
In 2025, I launched side.chat, an AI agent builder. Building it gave me hands-on experience turning a task into an AI workflow, testing the output and figuring out where a person needs to stay involved. It’s also how I developed the skills to make interactive experiences like this one.
At Harpoon, I’d bring that approach to meeting briefs, event preparation, portfolio content and follow-up. The goal is practical: less time rebuilding the same materials, more time for the conversations and decisions that need a person.
LESS REPEATING. MORE DOING.
I use Codex and other AI tools to prototype, write and iterate. I’m interested in where they make the work faster and where a person still needs to make the call.
At Harpoon, I’d start with the tasks that repeat: meeting prep, event coordination, content drafts and follow-up. Get the process right, then make it easier to run again.
Prepare. Pull the context together. Flag what’s missing.
Make. Draft the brief, plan or campaign. Check the facts.
Deliver. Get the right approval. Take action. Close the loop.
WHO MADE THIS & WHY
I’m based in Los Angeles, looking for my next full-time role, and happy to spend time with the team in San Diego.
I want to get back into venture with a small team where I can be useful every day. I bring the marketing background, the founder perspective and a willingness to handle the details.
